I used LHH through my last employer and it was not great. Maybe it works for others but I found it pretty thin on substance. I like the way you talk about the job search process. I would like to get started with you but I need to let you know that I have some strikes against me. I'm in South Carolina and can't relocate and I'm 62. I think I have been passed over for jobs due to my age. Would like to address strategies to address age issue.

that's okay...try not to blend them. Be a marketing leader for the marketing jobs or companies you target and be a sales leader for the sales jobs or companies that you target. Some pros willsay they are equally awesome at sales and marketing...I have only seen this to be true a handful of times.
Great content...that business support not business essential piece stuck with me. I am not a sales person. I am a Controller and I am having a hard time explaining to employers how I drive business. I can imagine that other Controllers struggle with this. I booked a chat and I really want to figure this out with you. I have a unique set of circumstances. I was a Fortune 100 CEO and I resigned three years ago in May from my last company. I was very successful but was scapegoated for a slight downturn and the board panicked and let me go. Since then, it's hard to find any good information about me online. When you search for my name the first few pages of results are from disgruntled employees and former competitors just trashing me. I have been on the radar for a few roles but have not gotten and reasonable offers. I am ready for my next challenge but I know I need to approach this differently. I read your book and I am ready to work with you. My hope is that we can take the sting out of the negative press I have received and somehow get my real value of building growth companies into market leaders out there.
